Emoticode Call of Duty: WWII Twitch Streaming Cipher Challenge
A cipher challenge created in partnership with Twitch and Activision to promote the upcoming video game Call of Duty: WWII.
A Twitch "emote" keyboard conveyed increasingly difficult ciphers each day of the challenge, culminating in a final cipher utilizing the Enigma decryption machine.
Players were able to experience what it was like to be a codebreaker at Bletchley Park, racing against the clock and working with their community of solvers to save the day, while the first person to solve each of the ciphers gained access to the game's private beta.
